1. What is PACE for New Mothers?
PACE CONDENSED:
A support group of 8 two hour sessions with 10-12
new moms, attending with their babies ages ranging from 2 weeks to 5 months
and younger, lead by mental health/education professionals/moms trained by PACE.
Seven sessions meet on site while one session will meet over a weekend with all the families.
2. What should I do first?
Please submit an on line form for new mothers, please note if your baby
has arrived or not.
3. What happens next?
Your information will
be logged and an email will be sent back to you regarding the registration process. We will also contact you VIA phone to
discuss any questions you might have.
4. What happens after that?
If your baby has not arrived yet, contact us back after the baby is born. Then you should follow
the rest of the instructions. If your baby has arrived and you are
ready to register for a specific group, please contact us. You will be asked to send to your checks payable to PACE to our
address.
5. How will I know if I am really registered
for a specific group?
Upon receipt of your check, you name will be added to the specific group roster. An email will confirm
your registration.
6. Do I need to know anything else before the group begins?
The leaders will contact
you by phone and email to check in and welcome you to the group. They will be able to answer your specific questions.

Do I bring the baby with me to the group?
Absolutely!

Do I need to take notes?
No.
9. Can I bring my mother
who is visiting the family?
Each session is closed and only open to the registered parties. You can
suggest that they go for coffee while you attend the group.
10. Can we feed, burp
and change the baby in the room?
Absolutely!
11. What if the baby cries?
All babies cry. Your baby
sounds loudest to you so do not worry.
